Tell us what
you need to see.
Whether that surface is visible under your present inspection.
You do not have to explain it in words. Send a photograph, or one physical sample,
and we will image it and tell you what becomes visible.
Reply usually within one business day / Office hours 9:00–17:00 JST, weekdays / We do not make sales calls.
Inquiry
What you would like to discuss
Your name, company, email address and what you need to see are enough to send. Fill in the rest as far as you know it.
What happens next
After you send it.
Before a quotation arrives, we answer whether it can be seen.
A technical member reads it and asks about anything unclear. Usually within one business day (office hours 9:00–17:00 JST, weekdays). Not through a call desk — the people who build the systems answer directly.
With a photograph we can give a first assessment; with the part itself we capture it on FORESIGHT STEREO and send back the Live and Surface Normal side by side. If it cannot be seen, we say so.
Only once it is confirmed that it can be seen do we work out the configuration, the installation conditions and how to evaluate. Visits happen at this stage: TR-100 and TR-300 can be seen here (systems are not lent out).
Before you write
What makes the first reply
concrete.
You do not need all of it. Send it with the gaps.
| The object and its material | Metal, plastic, plating, rubber, paper. Whether the surface is shiny, or black. Some objects fall outside the assumption — a mirror itself, or something light enters — so we check that first. |
|---|---|
| The defect you need to find, and its size | Scratches, dents, foreign matter, chips, discolouration. The approximate width in micrometres or millimetres. Knowing the size settles the resolution needed and the choice of camera. |
| How you inspect today, and what is going wrong | If it is done by eye: whether the verdict changes with the person, whether things are missed, or whether there is not enough time. What is going wrong changes the configuration. |
| Throughput | Time per piece (takt), or the speed and width of the line. This decides whether it is captured at rest or in motion. |
| Where it goes | Built into the line (in-line) or inspected by sampling (off-line). Available floor area, power, ambient light. |
| A photograph, or the part itself | This is the fastest. A photograph from a phone is enough for a first assessment. If you can send the part, we image it and return the captured images with our answer. Anything sent is returned after inspection. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement first if you prefer. The address for shipping is the one given below. |
