Our Presentation (Case Presentation 2)

Title:
Cutting the time to find work instructions down to seconds: practical use of generative AI and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)

Speaker:
Dr. Seong-Hun Choe
Chief Technology Officer (CTO), TOMOMI RESEARCH Inc. / Doctor of Engineering

Summary:
On the factory floor, searching for and checking work instructions and process documents managed on paper or as PDFs takes a great deal of time, leading to problems such as knowledge locked in individuals and missed checks.
This presentation introduces our work on a solution combining generative AI and RAG, which we are demonstrating in practice, to greatly reduce the time spent searching for information and make on-site operations smarter.

For manufacturing professionals interested in generative AI, or considering introducing it, this seminar offers highly practical content (the seminar is held in Japanese).
Please feel free to join us and deepen your knowledge and connections within the industry.

TOMOMI RESEARCH will continue to take on the development of innovative technologies that support digital transformation (DX) in manufacturing.
