A special day for TOMOMI RESEARCH
On this day, we had a special opportunity to welcome the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly's Committee on Industry and Tourism.
The committee chairman, Mr. Katsu Nagano, eight committee members, and five members of the committee in charge of the committee visited TOMOMI RESEARCH to investigate the use of AI in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Background of the visit by the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly Industry and Tourism Committee
The visit was made as part of a research tour of Kanagawa Prefecture to learn about the use of digital transformation (DX) in small and medium-sized enterprises in Kanagawa Prefecture.
In particular, we focused on how our AI visual inspection system contributes to productivity and quality improvement in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Flow of the visit
The visit began at 2:45 p.m. with an exchange of business cards and greetings. After that, Tomomi Sato, CEO of TOMOMI RESEARCH, gave an overview of TOMOMI RESEARCH's business.
Using slides, he explained in detail the importance of AI visual inspection, the benefits of automation, and our proprietary technologies, FORESIGHT STEREO and E3 ENGINE.
Equipment tour and Q&A session
The presentation was followed by a demonstration of our equipment.
This demonstration showed how our AI visual inspection system works in practice.
This was followed by a question and answer period during which we had the opportunity to answer many insightful questions from the legislators.
Appreciation and photo op
To conclude the visit, the committee chairman gave his acknowledgement and a commemorative photo was taken in front of the entrance to the first floor building.
The visit by the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly Industry and Tourism Committee was very meaningful to us and a great encouragement for our future activities.
The Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly Committee on Industry and Tourism
The visit by the Yamaguchi Prefectural Assembly Industry and Tourism Committee was a great example of how local government and SMEs can work together to promote DX and contribute to the revitalization of the local economy.
We will continue to contribute to local communities through technological innovation.
